Pandemic Thoughts - March 2021

Judy Schultz, Past Recording Secretary

I just got my second COVID vaccine shot.  Yippee!!! Took a big worry off my mind.  Had a few chills and tiredness.  It was challenging to get an appointment, but my insurance finally came through.  I know we are not out of the woods yet and plan to follow the recommendations of the CDC.  This has been a hard year.

Not only were we fighting the virus but also half of our Country that would not acknowledge that the virus was real and serious.  I am glad that the people in the nursing homes and their essential workers got the shot.  Now, since we have a third vaccine, hopefully the front-line workers, grocery workers, post office and factory workers, teachers, have their chance.  We need to acknowledge what they have done for us.  Without them we would not eat nor be able to function.  The small businesses should also be helped as the big guys got a lot of the PPP money.
